Economic Poster/Calendar Contest
Florida Council on Economic Education
A creative economics competition in which K–12 students illustrate an economic concept in a colorful drawing. Twelve winners are selected each term, and winning entries receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
Who can apply
Open to K–12 grade students. Grades K–8 and 9–12 use different economic concept definitions and vocabulary terms.
Why explore it
Builds economics knowledge and demonstrates creativity, art skills, and understanding of an economic concept.
What you will need
- Entries must be original and drawn in color, horizontally on an 8 1/2” x 11” white sheet of paper.
- Students must choose from the vocabulary terms specified for their grade level.
- Entries must illustrate an economic concept from the list provided.
- Each entry should include a completed Entry Form.
- The economic concept illustrated must be printed prominently on the drawing, spelled correctly, and written in large lettering.
- Teachers submit their entries in both the fall and spring semester.
